7 days have passed and still no word from UPS or anyone. So I placed my order (16th) and within 4 days (20th) the product had been labeled and shipped According to Reverb. It hasn’t been rough either, to be fair, but I have been having a hard time none the less. date & rate was 5/27 (2 stars) I edited and re-rated on 5/28( 3 stars) So - 5/28 So far, the process hasn’t been all that smooth. I am sending it back at my own expense with the hope that they will provide a full refund according to their policy. This type of advertising seems to me to be intentionally misleading. I did take a screen shot of the ad, but the screen did not include the detailed description, so I cannot be sure if they advertised the stand and pedals as included or optional. They had simply made the listing appear to be a sale price by marking it up $300, then marking it back down 30%. I ordered it, received it today, but no stand or triple pedal. Other companies sell the same bundle for $899 everyday price. Their normal price for just the piano had been $699 so it seemed reasonable that the price for the bundle had been reduced from $999 to $699, and the photo did show a bundle. 31% Price Drop! Price shown as $999 reduced to $699. On Saturday morning before Memorial Day, I noticed that Reverb had an advertisement with a photo of the es110, wood stand and triple pedals. Without the stand and pedals, most places sell The keyboard for $699. I’ve been looking for a Kawai es110 digital piano with wood stand and pedals. Raise price $300, then put on sale at $300 off. SELLER BEWARE! THESE ARE DECEITFUL TACTICS ON REVERB'S PART. I SELL ON OTHER PLATFORMS AND OUR OWN COMMERCE SITE, AND REVERB RANKS AS THE LEAST TRUSTWORTHY SITE FOR SELLERS. THIS IS UTTER UNDERHANDED TACTICS ON THEIR PART, IT UNDERMINES SELLERS, AND THEY FORCE SELLERS TO ARTIFICIALLY RAISE PRICES AT LEAST BY 10% TO COVER THEIR SNEAKY COMMISSION FEES. I HAVE WRITTEN TO REVERB ABOUT THIS AND HAVE NOT ADDRESSED MY CONCERNS. ON TOP OF THIS I HAVE TO PAY AND FINANCE SHIPPING PAYMENTS BEFORE I GET PAID, FIRST OUT OF POCKET, THEN SHIP WITH A TRACKING NUMBER AND DELAYED ON REVERB PAYMENTS TO GET PROCESSED. I HAVE TO WAIT AT LEAST 5 BUSINESS DAYS TO GET PAID. Reverb initiates payouts for shipped orders each business day." THIS IS FALSE AS WELL. ALSO THEY STATE AS FOLLOWS: "Your earnings will be automatically sent to your bank account. payments)" CLEARLY THEY CHARGED ME 6.7% SELLING FEE FOR BOTH PROCESSING FEE (3.34%)+ SELLING FEE OF 3.36% = 6.7% SO THEY ARE CLEARLY LYING ABOUT THIS. REVERB STATES THAT THEIR PAYMENT STRUCTURE AS FOLLOWS: "One payment processing fee of 2.5% + 25¢ for all orders (3.5% for intl. THIS IS THE SNEAKY PART, REVERB DOES NOT PAY THE TAXES THEY TAKE IT OFF THE SELLERS FEES (CHARGE THE BUYER TAX) AND OFF YOUR ITEM PRICE TO PAY IT. IN ADDITION THEY TOOK OFF TAXES OFF MY ITEMS OF 4.15% AVERAGED OUT.
This is the breakdown of their fee structure: They charged me as follows: A PROCESSING FEE OF 3.34% AN ADDITIONAL SEPARATE SELLING FEE OF 3.36 % I OPTED IN FOR THE BUMPS WHICH CAME OUT TO 2.86% FEE ADD THAT ALL UP AND IT'S 9.56% FEES. Reverb told me that their fees would be less than paypals. I have a preferred status on paypal, commerce level am very happy with it. I used paypal prior and was always paid instantly. Reverb forced me into their forced payment system without any choice.
