Overall, Sherwood Dungeon is a traditional MMORPG -with visuals that fit the premise perfectly- that brings an old school game experience to Android devices. Of course, you'll also earn money as you complete missions that you can invest in all kinds of upgrades and items, including animals you can ride across the map. Similar to other MMORPGs, players begin Sherwood Dungeon by accepting simple missions from other characters, such as killing a certain number of spiders, and progress to more difficult missions as they level up. Finally, you can unlock new skills and attacks as you level up your character. To interact with items or chat with characters, just tap on them. Simply use the virtual joystick on the left side of the screen to control your character, and the buttons on the right side of the screen to attack your enemies. For a long time, it could be played as a Shockwave, and later Flash game on web browsers. I poured countless hours into it for several years and watched it evolve into something amazing, but as soon as paid features (pets, steeds, companions, etc) were introduced, it slowly began to.
